Fun times with Owen

Owen is very much a 2-year old at the moment - lots of fun, with a good dose of frustration at times!! He recently added some lovely crayon art work to our living room walls - the walls have flat paint and so the only way we can remove the crayon is to paint! Also a couple of additional goes at coloring our sofa with blue pen - thankfully that has come off we can only use pencils around the house now.

Asleep... Chris had just read him 2 stories and he was done. He doesn't like to take a planned nap anymore, but at least 4 days a week still falls asleep somewhere mid-afternoon!


Sporting a lovely pair of playdough glasses

This is a picture of Chris and me on the Carthew hike in the Canadian Rockies before we got married. It sits next to our temple wedding certificate in our bedroom. Owen was looking hard at it last week and said. "I go there one day too". Owen we would love to take you there one day!


On Saturday Chris took Owen out on a "Daddy Date". He loaned a bike trailer from a friend and took Owen for a bike ride along the Augusta Canal. Owen loves to say he is going "super-fast=speed" on his trike and so this was just awesome fun to be going super-fast-speed with Dad. Afterwards they went to MacDonald for lunch and a play.

Owen LOVES to play with water. In the bath, at the sink, outside. If it involves water, he's happy! Here he had tipped his cup of water on his tray and was drinking it up like a dog!
